FOOD NOT BOMBS HOBART
Nourishing Community, One Meal at a Time
Join us at Food Not Bombs, a volunteer-powered soup kitchen dedicated to serving up delicious, nutritious meals to those in need. Our mission is simple: to provide food, not bombs – spreading love, kindness, and sustenance to our community. Every plate is filled with compassion, every bite is a statement against waste and inequality. Come share a meal, share a smile, and be part of building a more caring world, one bowl at a time.
MICROENTERPRISE BUILDER
Enabling Dreams, One Small Business at a Time
The project is dedicated to supporting individuals locked out of the system in building their own microenterprises, or opportunities for employment. Our focus is building businesses in the arts. I believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to turn their passions into a career, regardless of their abilities. I also support returning to work.
HOBART’S WEEKEND BREAD BASKET
Fresh Bread from the Heart
Join Hobart’s Weekend Bread Basket, a community-driven project spreading love and nourishment across greater Hobart! Every weekend, we collect freshly donated bread and cakes from a local colonial-style bakery and deliver them to those in need. We invite you to be a part of this rewarding journey, sharing the joy of giving and connecting with our community. Together, let’s rise to the occasion and make a difference, one loaf at a time!

Singing For a Different Community Every Day
Welcome to Christiaan’s Musical Mission, where the power of music brings people together! I’m Christiaan, and I’m passionate about sharing the joy of music with my community. Every day, I sing in public spaces, with groups, choirs, and choruses, spreading love, hope, and unity through melody. Join me on this mission to harness the positive impact of music and create a harmonious community for all!
STREETSHELTER
A Night Off the Streets
My mission is to create affordable and sustainable shelter solutions for those in need, starting with the flagship project, StreetShelter. This project provides a safe and welcoming space for individuals from the streets to rest and recharge. As it grows, the aim is to expand this service to include additional building projects that benefit our community.
STREETWORK
StreetWork is a free social work project in Hobart, providing long-term support to urban poor individuals. Through one-on-one relationships, I offer guidance, advocacy, and empowerment, leveraging my skills and resources to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals, fostering dignity, hope, and positive change in their lives.
PRISCILLA’S WOODCRAFT ADVENTURES
As the key initiative of Microenterprise Builder Priscilla’s Woodcraft Adventures is a creative enterprise born from a passion for woodworking and a commitment to faith. With a focus on craftsmanship and dedication, Priscilla and her team design and handcraft unique, functional, and beautiful wood pieces using rare and stunning Tasmanian timbers. From decorative items to practical treasures, every creation is imbued with love, care, and attention to detail. More than just a business, Priscilla’s Woodcraft Adventures is a testament to the power of creativity, perseverance, and faith, inspiring others to embrace their talents and turn their passions into purposeful adventures.
