CHRYSALIS: Working Concept. Explorations of concepts using art.

Chrysalis represents the hub of my life’s work, encompassing five interconnected projects that form the core of my purpose.

The Big Five

CHRYSALIS

Like a chrysalis in nature, where a caterpillar undergoes a profound metamorphosis, my vision of Chrysalis symbolizes my passion for change.

La lutte

The struggle continues.

Within this inclusive framework, are key projects which converge and flourish, nurturing a holistic approach to community building, social impact, and personal change.

Radical Change

A caterpillar’s enzymes will eat the caterpillar itself.

As Chrysalis continues to unfold, it embodies the dynamic interplay between my values, my creativity, and service, ultimately revealing a vibrant tapestry of meaning.

From nothing comes nothing.

What turns a once interesting butterfly back into a slug?

In my role, I listen closely to the depths of human struggle and suffering—not to judge, but to understand. I hear the pain behind the anger, the fear beneath the violence, and the loss that often fuels conflict. By holding space for these stories, I begin to see the reasons people fight—not as monsters, but as humans shaped by wounds, injustice, and desperation. It is through this listening that understanding begins.

One fascinating fact about metamorphosis is that inside the chrysalis, the caterpillar doesn’t just grow wings—it completely dissolves into a soupy, unrecognizable state before reforming as a butterfly. Symbolically, this mirrors human struggle: profound transformation often requires total breakdown, the surrender of who we were, before we can emerge renewed. It’s a powerful reminder that chaos and pain are not signs of failure, but necessary stages of becoming.
